An important part of our project has based on the idea of strengthening the ties between the elderly and the youth. In order to get it, we carried out a range of different activities together. We paid them several visits, our school choir sang for them, and taking advantage that 2012 was the International Year of the Elderly, we shared a common project that had the support of the Catalan TV. There was a group of young children at risk of social exclusion that made a special dominoes to play with. Their teachers, the Elderly People's Home's staff and our students shared two evenings together while playing the game, sharing experiences, chatting, eating some hot chocolate with muffins and, simply, having a great time together.
